In this forum, you talk about doing a reqIf export

Trying to get my data into reqIf format (and in SVN) from Doors 9. And then I can use all sorts of great tools like DoorScope and use the eclipse RMF tools to link directly to my tests in exlipse pydev.

Whats the status on that update for exporting to Reqif. Or do you think it would be possible to use the Lua interface and save in a ReqIF through the api

DoorScope is considered to be a requirements viewer up to now, not a requirements authoring tool. That's why editing or exporting requirements is not supported. You could probably implement a ReqIF export using Lua. But why would you do that if there was no way to modify requirements? What's your use case?

I want to use eclipse RMF reqIf editor Pror (packed by formalmind com) for editing and get away from Doors so I can customize my features. Such as integration with my tests in pydev, and searching in side tables, and richtext support.

The real issues is Doors does not support OLE objects in ReqIf. But the dxl export of DoorScope does.

Ok, I see. But generating ReqIf is not that easy and as far as I understand you only need it for a onetime data transfer. If you have programming resources you could in principle create your own format. Have a look at my DXL script which is used to export Doors data. It sends a primitive markup syntax to the ETL process. You could write it to a file as well and implement an RMF import tool reading this file and the associated png files (the OLE objects are converted to png in screen resolution by the DXL script).
